I am on day 4 of painting the "under painting" for my next painting, and I am very excited by the loose quality of the image and the fluidity in the brush strokes here. I am going to inch my way forward on this painting, bringing some of it very forward but keeping this energy and feel. I hope I can do this! It is a big step in a new direction and I like it...it's just so different from my other paintings...I have past paintings hanging on the walls and while I am working on this new one, I stop and see the old ones and nowI am leaning away from the look of my finished pieces...Wow! I wonder if this is temporary insanity or a big leap- hmmm.
