Never say "done"

I am finding out that I am conditioned form doing art for hire- with a usual time restriction, that I paint my canvas quickly and say to myself that it's done as soon as it looks good to me. This painting with Michelle and the rabbit clouds has continued to evolve and stay active! I have been inspired to go richer and deeper with this painting and I am happy with the results. How do you know when you are done with a painting? When it stops asking for more and you give it plenty of time to ask ;)
